So why do some choose to pay despite free options?

So if there is so much free content available, why do people even waste their time going through paid platforms? 

The short answer, you don’t have to. I’ve been listening to free erotic audio content for nearly four years now, and it wasn’t until this year that I started looking behind those paywalls. 

For pure convenience alone I could make the argument that apps like Patreon are worth the splurge. Patreon’s ability to download any audio so you can listen to it without Wi-Fi? Game changer! Sites like Best Kept Secret take away the hurdle of you having to kiss a lot of frogs before finding the prince. Meticulously vetted voice actors, along with a dedicated team of writers and sound engineers, work diligently on each piece. So what we end up with is a culmination of the most top-tier, sexy, growling, whimpering variety of voices in one easy-to-navigate app. Unfortunately for my wallet, most of my favorite voice actors are only available by subscribing. Reddit alone is totally fine, but I (and many others) have found navigating through the site to be a bit cumbersome. Like let’s just say you’re looking for a dual male-for-female threesome audio: My go-to search would be, “mm4f threesome.” Somehow the search engine will misunderstand that simple search and show me instead a bunch of irrelevant posts like, script offers or female-for-male audios. When most of us think of free porn the first site to come to mind is Pornhub. It’s only natural that this also be a great source for free audio erotica as well. The site is modern with a big card-style design, making it easy to see exactly what you’re clicking on before you press play. Most importantly, the search engine is intuitive and easy to maneuver, meaning it will only take you a click or two to find an audio. You can also create a free account which gives you the ability to make playlists so your favorite erotica stories are in one place without having to search.

One of the drawbacks of using this site as your primary source though, has to do with the ads. A lot of us moved to audio erotica because porn alone was no longer arousing enough. With Pornhub, since it’s a traditional porn site first it will always try to push you to watch an actual video. This means even with a browser like Brave, there are a lot of ads on this site. Before nearly every video started, I had to watch several seconds of a porn teaser before being able to skip to get to the audio. 

If you’re also looking to listen while doing other things you will have to leave your phone open on the site since videos do not play in the background. This means you won’t be able to listen on public transport or at the gym unless you’re okay with someone looking over at your screen and seeing exactly what you’re listening to. For binge listeners that like to listen to erotic audio stories to fall asleep, this can be too big of a drawback since it means you have to actively pay attention to your phone so you aren’t clicking out of the site.

Literotica gets the number five spot on my list because although there is a plethora of free erotic audio stories on there, the site itself is clunky and outdated. The homepage is filled with an overwhelming amount of hyperlinks, and while there is a site index, overall I’ve found everything on here is too cumbersome to find. 

For this reason, we created a table of the top Literotica audios, that you can filter by voice, theme, rating and other parameters, that will hopefully make it easier for you to find some good audios. 

Many of the stories you’ll find here are in the narrative style of speaking, and creators post content daily. You’ll often hear dialogue like, “She put her hand on my hip as I pulled her closer.”

One drawback of the site is the less-than-stellar recording quality of many audios. This is because many voice actors on Litertica do not have professional equipment. Nevertheless, you can still find some good audios there.

There is also a good variety of female-for-female creators on here which is always a plus. But many of the audios can be quite vanilla so bear that in mind if you are into harder stuff. Fans of the spicier stuff might enjoy these rough Literotica audios.

#6: Soundgasm

A free audio hosting site that is all too familiar for longtime listeners. Almost every content creator posting on GWA will upload their free audio erotica stories here. This article is a good starting point, if you don’t know which VA to look for.

Since this is a free platform it tends to compress audios down, meaning if you’re looking for crisp binaural ASMR sounds this won’t be the way to go. Similar to Soundgasm, this site is mostly used by content creators outside of the U.S. Some have found the audio quality better than Soundgasm but it’s not overly noticeable if you choose one over the other.

Strangely enough while TikTok is limited in what they allow with adult content there are short erotic audio clips on here. Similar to YouTube with a lot of teasers, the reason it was able to make the final cut is because of the audio erotica community on the app.
