First the Punishment, Then the Reward

Miss Evans is the last one left in the building, and he calls her into his office. He starts pleasantly enough, asking how she's settling in, before getting to the point: the due diligence agreement she didn't prepare as carefully as he'd asked.

He holds his staff to certain standards, and lately he suspects he's been far too lenient with her… letting things get a little too enjoyable.

He can't have her making the same mistakes on purpose, day after day, just to earn his particular brand of attention. This is a place of business, after all.

She's had it rather good her first week, exactly as he intended. But this kind of insolence? That calls for something else entirely.
