It's been a few weeks since you walked out on him, after seeing what you saw. Two weeks of silence, replaying that video in your head, pretending it didn't mean anything, or at least trying to find some reason why your friendship shouldn't change. But when you finally come back through his door, the quiet between you isn't so easy to ignore.

He's a bit stung, but he still wants you. And as the walls start to crack — with sharp words, then laughter, then the kind of banter only the two of you share — the pull between you becomes impossible to deny.
